Breastfeeding Resources Ontario was launched by the BFI Strategy for Ontario in the spring of 2016. This freely available, bilingual website for health professionals is a centralized source of quality, evidence-informed resources that support the Baby-Friendly Initiative. Features and highlights include:
- Resources meet established criteria and are reviewed regularly for currency and appropriateness.
- Organized by categories (e.g., service provider, parent), topics and type (e.g., booklets, videos, posters).
- Search function with a ‘how-to-search’ video to support easy navigation of resources.
- New resources regularly added.
The BFI Strategy for Ontario is contacting health care organizations and professional organizations across Ontario to raise awareness of this valuable resource and to provide a quick and easy way for you to support access to these tools for your staff and/or members.
